What We Believe

With our main goal being to plant churches, our biggest focus is the training of church leaders. Leadership is the key for the building of any congregation. Therefore, we are heavily involved in doing discipleship and home Bible studies to prepare preachers, laymen, Sunday school teachers, etc. 

God's salvation is available to all (John 3:16, Romans 10:13, Acts 2:2) and He desires for all to be saved (II Peter 3:9).

To be saved, an individual must recognize that he is a sinner (Rom 3:23), that he cannot save himself (Ephesians 2:8,9, Titus 3:5) and is in need of a Savior. Then he must come in repentance (Acts 3:19), confession, and faith, believing that Christ died on the cross and rose again the third day with the power over sin and death.  (Romans 10:9,10).

Salvation is eternal because Christ paid the payment for sin (Hebrews 10:10-14). As believers, we are held in the hand of God. Nothing can cause us to be taken out ( John 10:27-30), and nothing can separate us from God. (Romans 8:38,39).

The church began with the twelve disciples. It is a local visible assembly of believers that is commissioned with carrying out the gospel and doing the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord's Supper. (Matthew 28:19, 20)

We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the verbally and plenary inspired Word of God. The Scriptures are inerrant, infallible, and God breathed and, therefore the final authority for faith and life. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament from Genesis to Revelation are the complete and divine revelation of God to Man. As originally written, the Scriptures not only contain and convey the Word of God but are the very Word of God. 

We hold to the Authorized King James Version of the Bible as the best for English speakers. For the Spanish speaking people, we hold to the Reina Valera 1960.
